Proud Sponsors of Robbie’s Rugby Festival

Our fantastic Managing Director, Peter, is part of the famous “Dad’s BBQ” at the Robbie’s Rugby Festival charity event, which raises life-changing funds for The Robbie Anderson Cancer Trust.

The charity event was founded in 2010 by a group of old school friends and is now in its 15th year, having become a permanent fixture in the calendar for so many. The Trust continues to raise vital funds for Ward 27 at the Leicester Royal Infirmary and, in most recent years, has helped to fund trips away for patients and family members, revamp treatment rooms, and provide vital pieces of equipment such as a bladder and cannula scanner.

Currently, the charity is funding a psychologist to be based part-time at Ward 27 to help patients and their families with their mental health, something that is of huge importance when battling cancer.

Cablenet has been a proud sponsor of Robbie’s Rugby Festival throughout the years, uniting with local communities, businesses, and teams from across the country to support a very special local charity.
