Enhancing Efficiency and Capacity: Our Latest Infrastructure Upgrades at CASOne Warehouse

At CASOne, we're committed to continuous improvement and delivering the best possible service to our customers. With this commitment, we are excited to announce the completion of a major infrastructure project at our warehouse.

Introducing a Linear Flow Approach

We've implemented the repositioning of all work areas to create a more streamlined and efficient linear flow. This approach ensures that goods move smoothly through the warehouse, reducing bottlenecks and minimising handling times. By optimising the layout, we've enhanced our ability to process orders quickly and accurately, ultimately leading to faster fulfilment times and improved customer satisfaction. This has already had a positive impact, so much so that 100% of our orders are being despatched within the same day for next day delivery.

Expanded Storage Capacity with New Racking System

To support our growing inventory and the need for greater storage capacity, we've installed a VNA racking system that adds an additional 3,400 pallet spaces to our warehouse. This expansion not only allows us to store more products but also provides us with the flexibility to manage larger volumes. The new racking system is designed with a 'very narrow aisle' configuration, which offers a significant advantage over standard pallet racking systems. This means we can increase our storage density, making the most of our available floor space while still maintaining easy access to all stored items.

Increased Pick Face Capacity

In addition to the new racking system, we've also increased our pick face capacity with over 2,000 new pick faces. This expansion enables us to store a wider variety of product lines, ensuring that we can meet the diverse needs of our customers more effectively. With more pick faces available, our team can work more efficiently, reducing the time required to pick products and allowing us to fulfil orders faster.
